I’ve been a musician since about age 4, when my parents started me on Suzuki method violin. I picked up the harp when I turned about 10, and have been singing pretty much my entire life. In college, I sang with the William & Mary Choir and with Reveille, a student-run women’s a cappella group, and music performance with a focus on harp was one of my two majors.
Now I mostly play for myself, though not as much as I’d like. I am continuing to arrange music, though; I arrange traditional folk tunes for the harp and occasionally some video game music–there are a lot of Stardew Valley tunes that sound great on the lever harp! You can find some of my arrangements on Musescore. I have also been trying my hand at creating some original music, writing a suite inspired by the Middle English Breton Lay Sir Orfeo that will be offered alongside the METS digital edition of Sir Orfeo and that I hope to publish as a collection at some point soon.
