The following document is an “at a glance” course overview, a 1-page course overview that students can download and use to easily see what is due in each week of a course:
Documents like this can make it simpler to for students who are uncertain about CMS navigation to create a checklist for what work they need to do each week.
The second student aid I am including here is an MLA 7th edition template document that I give to students (in Word document format, not PDF) so that they have a template on hand if their word processor skills are still developing:
The template contains not only formatting, but also notes that explain the different parts of the formatting as they relate to MLA manuscript requirements.
